BritNed Development Limited is a 50:50 joint venture between National Grid and TenneT Holding b.v. and its headquarters are in Arnhem, The Netherlands. The company operates an electricity link between Great Britain and the Netherlands. The BritNed interconnector has a capacity of 1,000MW and is 260km long. The link supports security and diversity of electricity supply both countries and allows BritNed's customers to participate in European markets.
