YME-Ulla Submarine Cable Installation

Global Marine are currently conducting installation of the Yme-Ulla submarine cable on behalf of Tampnet in the North Sea.

Operational conditions on site have mean that a section of the cable has been surface laid, and will be buried later using a separate vessel and ROV.

There is around 24 nm of exposed cable on the seabed. The positions are as follows:

Start of exposed cable:                         56°57.600'N  003°10.800'E

End of Exposed Cable:                         57°26.500'N  003°52.700'E

For convenience , the mid-point is     57°22.100'N  003°31.700'E

There are guard vessels to inform other vessels locally
